Description
An Openstudio Model measure for Electric thermal storage devices
Updates:
- The available charging power for the ETS is computed as the difference between the facility's electric demand and the ETS charging power from the previous timestep.
- In the previous version, the setting defining the operation priority of ETS when functionning alongside other equipment such as boilers was hard coded such that the order of priority is automatically set to the following : (1) Electric boilers, (2) ETS devices and (3) Fossil fuel boilers. This update removes this default logic to allow users to define the operation scheme manually based on their individual use case. To revert back to the default logic, you may uncomment the relevant code block (Plant equipment operation schemes) in the Measure.rb script.
