Compounded by the intrinsic complexities of the medical sector, their development can prove challenging. In this sense, this article focuses on their development from a methodological standpoint. Leveraging the review of six distinct product development approaches and processes, the proposed research direction explores Agile Systems engineering and especially a V-model-Scrum process model for the development of smart medical technologies.",
