Abstract

This paper presents a multi-objective mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model for project deconstruction planning, combining precedence-constrained task scheduling, workforce and shared-equipment allocation, material valorization, and material transportation. The model is solved by using the lexicographic technique and trade-offs between three objectives : profit, project duration, and material landfilling reduction. Preliminary results obtained based on a fictive instance confirm the feasibility of the formulation and show that the chosen priority order of the objectives can drastically change the solution, revealing strong tensions between economic performance and circularity outcomes.
