Abstract
Non-colinear parametric detection of broadband terahertz (THz) waves enable high-sensitivity detection through spatial separation of sum- and difference-frequency generation (SFG and DFG). This approach provides an efficient route to sensitive and frequency-resolved THz detection. In this work, we demonstrate non-colinear THz parametric detection using a 20-μ m-thick lithium niobate slab waveguide, where phase matching is governed by the effective THz refractive index of the waveguide rather than the bulk crystal.
