A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is defined as a logical network that connects multiple users who belong to the same user group (Business, Providers, etc...) and disperse geographically. A VPN is protected by a service level agreement (SLA between the customer and service provider (ISP that defined the various parameters such as level of service (availability and performance), quality of service (QoS).
Through a repeated non-cooperative game, we propose an autonomic and distributed architecture for allocation resources within a VPN by allowing operators to manage their bandwidth in a way optimal to share their resources unused ensuring quality of service without the intervention of the ISP. To encourage operator VPN to adopt this model, we used the theory games as a mechanism and more specifically the model of repeated non-cooperative game.
This model allows operators to manage autonomously their bandwidth to enable a better quality of service, thus ensuring the availability of short, medium and long term.
