Today, the climate change is a reality which is binding on the scientific community. But its impact on the increase and the frequency of the floods divides them. It is in this context that the work of this master’s degree provides elements of answer to the debate by treating the topic « analysis of the overflows in the networks of drainage ». A reflection backed up and argued on the various origins of this alarming phenomenon was carried out.
Ten parameters having an impact on the overflows of network were identified. They were gathered in three categories: the parameters related on the climate change, the town planning and the maintenance of the networks of drainage.
A test of sensitivity was carried out on two synthetic sub catchments. Among ten analyzed parameters, the test of sensitivity made it possible to retain six as the greatest impact. The impact of each of the six parameters on the flows generated by the whole synthetic watershed on the one hand and a real catchment, through the case of a sector of the district of Verdun on the other hand was studied.
Three impact indicators made it possible to assess each of six parameters of the study. Method of analysis multicriteria was used to decide their levels of impact on the runoff. Thus the town planning proved to be the most important factor impacting on the overflow of networks, follow-up of maintenance then the climate.
The taking into account three main parameters that are the soils sealing, the soils infiltration and the pipes sediments could widely mitigate the effects of climate change on overflows networks drainage.
