Contingencies are sudden problems encountered on electrical network. They can be benign, as they can have dangerous impacts on the networks. Therefore, it needs rapid and reliable methods capable of analyzing and classifying them to facilitate processing by operators. The objective of this thesis is to provide an answer to this problem.
To do this, a study of the transient stability analysis via a program in the time domain based on SIME and CAE is realized. The research for critical machines, the calculation of the margin of stability, the time of instability and the return time are the main parameters that
determine the nature and classification of contingencies. It is also suggested in some case an estimate of the CCT.
Two methods FILTRA and PASF are developed to filter, analyze contingencies and predict which are most severe for the operation of electrical network. Each of these methods is associated with a way to divide the machines into two groups. A comparison of the two methods is exposed.
To simulate the proposed program, four electrical network tests are considered: the 3 machines 9 bus, the 10 machines 39 bus, the 17 machines 162 bus and the 50 machines 145 bus. The classical model and the detailed model two axes are used. As a validation, the results of these simulations are compared with those found in the literature and the results provided by the commercial software PSSE.
