In the traditional Internet network, the main entity that manages the network is the Internet Service provider (ISP). However, in a network virtualization environment, this role is shared by three different entities: physical infrastructures providers (PIP), service providers (SP) and virtual infrastructure providers (VIP).In fact, PIPs are responsible for deploying and managing the physical infrastructure resources. SPs offer end-to-end services to different users. VIPs lease virtual resources from PIPs in order to create and manage virtual networks. A virtual network is a set of virtual nodes connected by virtual links. Each virtual node is hosted in one physical node. However, a virtual link may be deployed over many physical links to form a physical path. This architecture has several advantages such as the ability of networks from different providers to coexist into the same environment, which guarantees scalability and evolution. The most important challenge of network virtualization is to define methods and algorithms for mapping virtual networks that guarantee efficient use of resources provided by the physical infrastructure. Our solution, using hybrid approach, distributes the task of allocating resources among several entities of the physical network to ease the processing and to optimize the resource usage.
