This thesis implements a voltage and an SOC (state of charge) droop control application to control the power sharing between solar panels and batteries, in order to supply loads. In a first step, we will study the voltage droop and observe its operation using modeling and simulation on Matlab/Simulink. Then we will discuss about the SOC droop as well as modeling and simulation of renewable energy sources for their integration into a microgrid network. Finally, attention is paid to the role of the main power grid when this one is connected to the microgrid.
The purpose of this research is to provide a functional microgrid, which will equitably share the power of each source according to its maximum capacity. This research sets up the more recent command tehniques applied to renewable energy sources by conducting various simulations by changing the power load on the microgrid. Droop control allows adjustment of the output power as a function of the power of the load in particular when changing it, by observing the evolution of the voltage on the network.
